I am a qualified Person-centred counsellor who believes in the importance of the therapeutic relationship. I regard the therapeutic relationship as a healing process which is facilitated by genuineness, empathy and acceptance. The success of the therapy is largely reliant on how genuinely I, the counsellor can communicate empathy, acceptance and my trust in clients also whether I am able to maintain this non-judgemental attitude in the therapeutic relationship.

I am not better or worse than you. I am just like you a unique individual who lives here and now and never again or lived before whose life is an unrepeatable wonder and sometimes challenging as life itself could be.

As a teacher I have always wanted to understand why we feel, think and behave in certain ways. After more than twenty years of teaching experience in Hungary this interest brought me in England, getting me to change career, to work within social care and mental health and simultaneously to study psychology and counselling.

I would like to offer and help you with my insight to be able to cope and manage your difficult experiences.

My qualifications

I have completed MSc in Counselling Psychology at Keele University and I hold a MSc Occupational Psychology Degree (University of Worcester). Furthermore I gained a BSc (Hons) in Psychology (University of Worcester) and a Counselling Skills Certificate (Newman University, Birmingham).
I am a member of BACP.
In addition, I continue to undergo personal therapy, advanced training and personal development in order to further my skills as a therapist.
I am also a volunteer, placement counsellor at Worcestershire Cruse Bereavement Organisation and The Awareness Centre in London, working towards my accreditation.

My background

I have more than 20 years teaching experience in Hungary, across a wide range of abilities, including learning and behavioural needs as well as broad variety of work experience within social care and mental health.

“When two people relate to each other authentically and humanly, God is the electricity that surges between them.”
(Martin Buber)
"What do romance, doing good business, and working for world peace have in common? All require true dialogue – between lovers, between colleagues and competitors, and between groups of people or countries. More than accomplishments or ends, more than being right or wrong, more than what we own, relationships are the most important thing in life, according to Martin Buber."
